Fishing Tournament First Annual Family Fishing Tournament "The Big Cat & Carp Quest" This event is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 29th through May 31st, 2010) along the banks of the Kankakee River at the Momence Island Park. The tournament will begin sharply at 6:00 a.m. and will continue until weigh in at 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is available as well as one hour sign-up prior to scheduled fishing time. Entry fee for is $10.00 per family. Those who are currently serving in the military and our Nations Veterans will be Free!!! (Proof of serve will be required upon registration) (All Participates must adhere to all IDNR Regulations) Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place awarded for Big Cat & Big Carp! We are encouraging families to come out and spend quality time together by participating in this 3 day event. This is an opportunity for all of the family to sit back and relax, enjoy some fishing and a chance to strike it "BIG".
